Les Diablerets will host the alpine skiing competitions from the 10th to the 15th of January 2020.
In the heart of the Swiss Vaud Alps, the resort of Les Diablerets is an authentic mountain village located at the foot of an imposing massif and surmounted by a majestic glacier. The village is made up entirely of chalets and developed whilst preserving its heritage.
Les Diablerets has facilities to practice a multitude of winter sports and includes over 125kms of ski slopes between Le Meilleret and Glacier 3000, 30kms of cross-country ski runs, a ski jumping hill and a unique toboggan run of 7.2 kms. Les Diablerets, which counts among its population several passionate champions of winter sports, is ready to write a new page in Olympic history in January 2020.
Les Diablerets will host all the alpine ski competitions of the Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympic Games.
Les Diablerets en Jeux!
Through Les Diablerets en Jeux! children, youth and adults of all ages will be able to participate in numerous discovery sliding sports such as ski jumping, cross-country skiing, biathlon, ice hockey, curling and ice skating. Concerts and animations will take place between the competitions just a few hundred meters from the finish line.
Access for people with disabilities
Note: Due to weather conditions, the finish line has been moved higher and is difficult to access. However, a "Fan Zone" with giant screen will be installed instead of the original finish area. The access path to get there will be accessible. Upon request to the organisers, it will be possible to drop off people with reduced mobility near the Fan Zone.
