Champéry will host the curling competitions from the 10th to the 22nd of January 2020.

Champéry, in the Swiss canton of Valais, is a charming winter village with an authentic character and offers all the modern tourist attractions both in winter and summer.

Champéry is one of 12 ski resorts in the prestigious Portes-du-Soleil ski area. Nestled at the foot of the famous mountain chain of Dents-du-Midi, Champéry offers all the modern tourist attractions both in winter and summer, and especially with its mountain bike courses.

The ‘Palladium de Champéry’ houses the National Center for Ice Sports (Centre National de Sports de Glace (CNSG) and has an ice rink, a curling rink, two swimming pools, a fitness centre, a climbing wall, a multipurpose room, three tennis courts, several conference rooms as well as an hotel. The European Curling Championships took place in the CNSG in 2010 and 2014, and the World Mixed Curling Championships in 2017. The Champéry Palladium also hosts the International School of Figure Skating and Stéphane Lambiel (former World Figure Skating Championships) Skating School of Switzerland.

For the Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympic Games, Champéry will host the curling competitions.

Champéry en Jeux!

Champéry en Jeux! will use the Lausanne 2020 curling events to help make this sport better known through discovery activities that will be offered every day. The hosts will be entertained with many animations which will be part of the event and will be able to discover and enjoy local traditions and products.
