« Home », Lausanne 2020 Opening Ceremony

Centred on the theme of "Home", the opening ceremony of the Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympic Games will be organized around 7 artistic tableaux and symbolic elements that epitomise the Olympic movement; this will include the lighting of the Olympic Flame, which will burn throughout the Games.

This ceremony will also be an opportunity to welcome all participating nations during the traditional parade of athletes. This will be the kickoff event of the Lausanne 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games and the starting point for 14 days filled with emotions.
