For the fourth consecutive year, more than 24’000 running enthusiasts have crossed the finish line of the most famous sporting event in Lausanne! Last weekend, young and old braved a sometimes-inclement weather to exceed their own limits on 2km, 4km, 10km or 20km.
Yodli set the pace by running the first meters of the race with the runners in a festive atmosphere!
A 2020 cm (20.20 meters) red carpet was also laid on the last 2020 centimeters before the finish line – a Lausanne 2020 carpet of encouragement for the finishers!
Lausanne 2020 also rewarded the 20th finisher of each youth category by offering them a stuffed mascot and a place on a special podium… that was made of 4 levels.
On Sunday, Lausanne 2020 President Virginie Faivre and IOC Associate Director of the Olympic Games Pierre Ducrey were guests on the TV set and talked about the next Youth Olympic Games!

Friendship, respect and excellence in self-giving: The three Olympic values were lived to the fullest throughout every single moment of this magnificent event organized by the City of Lausanne.
