Lausanne welcomes 250 French students

Lausanne 2020 and Paris 2024 recently signed a collaboration agreement to work hand in hand on various projects, including youth engagement. In this context, 125 students from the Collège Saint-François de Sales in Dijon went to Lausanne today, and a further 125 students from the same school will head to the Olympic Capital on May 28. On the agenda: visit of the Olympic Museum, presentation of Lausanne 2020 and Paris 2024 and exchange with Quentin Fillon Maillet, Olympian and French biathlete.

The President of the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee Tony Estanguet said: "Our friendship, our closeness and the vision we share with Lausanne 2020 on important topics such as sustainability, the environment and civic engagement, made this collaboration a natural step. We are going to work together on a number of aspects, in addition to more obvious collaborations, such as the educational actions we are going to roll out in France and Switzerland in the run-up to our respective events."

Lausanne 2020 is looking forward to continuing this fruitful collaboration!
