"Crystallize the excellent collaboration"

For the first time in History, an Olympic Games will be bi-national: Lausanne 2020 will be the first Games to have competitions in two countries, in Switzerland and France.

Lausanne 2020 is working closely with the French Jura for the Ski Jumping, Biathlon and Nordic combined events. This fruitful collaboration has also led to an agreement guaranteeing Swiss athletes free access to the Tuffes stadium (F) for training purposes for the next twenty years. It also provides the free use of the stadium for running of a number of Nordic ski competitions organized by Swiss Ski. The Convention was signed by the State Councilor in charge of Sport and Vice-President of the Executive Committee of Lausanne 2020, Philippe Leuba, the Prefect of the Jura, Richard Vignon and the General Director of the National School of Mountain Sports (ENSM), Hervé Josseron.

"This convention crystallizes the excellent collaboration between Switzerland and France around the organization of the Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympic Games. This additional sporting legacy will continue after the Games", concludes the State Councilor Philippe Leuba.
