Conference on Sport and Resilience

In addition to the 3rd Winter Youth Olympic Games, Lausanne is also organizing a conference with the theme of Sport and Resilience. Distinguished guests will be present. This free roundtable is open to all.

The conference will take place on January 10th at Casino de Montbenon in Lausanne. Featured speakers will include the following:

, Swiss tennis star and Olympic medalist

Timea Bacsinzky and Elisa Perini will deliver testimonies of their experiences as top-level athletes.

Summary of the conference

With the release of “Sport and Resilience” , we are privileged to welcome Boris Cyrulnik, celebrated neuropsychiatrist, author and international pioneer of the concept of resilience; Timea Bacsinszky, Olympic medallist in tennis; Elisa Perini, international athlete in the biathlon; and Mark Milton, founder of Education 4 Peace and co-author of the books, “Master of Your Emotions” and “Sport and Resilience.” This round table will offer wonderful testimonies of resilience and will permit us to better understand its origins as well as its potential uses in the world of sport.
