Two Olympic athletes advise the transport team
From the start, Lausanne 2020 has relied upon the Athletes' Council to give them good advice: approximately 30 high-level athletes, who regularly meet and advise the Organizing Committee, based on their own experience. A very precious support.
Two of them, Camillia Berra (Switzerland, ski freestyle, 2014 Olympic Games) and Adam Scholefield (UK, waterpolo, 2012 Olympic Games) recently visited La Ruche tl, the innovative platform presenting public transport in the Lausanne region (tl). They tested a prototype and shared their opinion as an Olympic athlete with the team that developed the Transport application for Lausanne 2020.
« It is extremely important de be able to depend upon the athletes' experience in the conception of the Lausanne 2020 Transport application. Thanks to this exchange, our app will answer not only the general public's needs, but also those of the delegations", concluded Mathieu Menet and Paul Michel, respectively Innovation Manager and UX Designer at la Ruche tl.
